Mahmut Çetin Kimdir

Mahmut Çetin, 1955 yılında Ordu’nun Çatalpınar ilçesi Elmaköy mahallesinde dünyaya geldi.
İlk öğrenimimi doğduğu topraklarda, ortaokul ve lise eğitimini ise Samsun İmam-Hatip Okulu’nda tamamladı.

Hayat mücadelesi içinde eğitime olan bağını koparmayarak, 1995 yılında Anadolu Üniversitesi Açıköğretim Fakültesi Sosyal Bilimler Önlisans programını bitirdi.
1975 yılında adım attığı Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı bünyesindeki İmam-Hatiplik görevini, 2001 yılında emekli olana dek sürdürdü.
Emekliliğinin ardından memleketinden kopmayan Çetin, bugün halen Ordu Çatalpınar’ın Şifasuyu mevkiinde mütevazi bir çay ocağı işletiyor;
Burada dostlarıyla sıcak çay eşliğinde hayatı, tarihi ve insanı konuşmaya devam ediyor.

Evli ve üç çocuk babası olan Mahmut Çetin, bugünlerde hayatın en güzel hediyesi olan torunlarını sevmekle ve onlarla vakit geçirmekle huzur buluyor.

Yılların getirdiği bu zengin yaşam birikimini, dünyayı ve insanı anlama çabasını ortak değerlerimizle harmanlayan Mahmut Çetin, kaleme aldığı yazılarında sizleri derin ve anlamlı bir yolculuğa davet ediyor.
